We love your feedback and we update Motif regularly in response to it! Here’s what’s new in this release:

We’ve made it much easier to move images on the page. Simply press and drag on the image to pick it up, and then drop it wherever you like. You can move an image to another position in the layout, or drop it on top of another image to swap them.

We’ve made it easier to select text. Just click and drag across your text and it’s ready to edit or style.

We’ve made working with custom colors a breeze. Any new colors you create are now saved with your project and automatically added to the top of the Page Color and Font Color menus.

We’ve made our icons easier to understand by showing their tooltips faster. Wonder what an icon does? Just hover over it and you’ll quickly get a helpful explanation!

We’ve reordered our Design Themes to put our most popular Themes up front. (You can still see the whole collection by scrolling to the right.)

We fixed a bug in which, when moving an image using drag and drop, a gray box was sometimes shown rather than a thumbnail of the image being dragged.

We fixed a bug in which, when adding new pages to a book project, the selected Theme’s background colors or patterns were not applied to the new pages.

We fixed a Calendar bug in which images used on a date would lose certain properties, like Zoom or Rotation, when the project was synced between multiple Macs running macOS Big Sur or Monterey.
